Boola Bardip Museum Excursion
On Wednesday the 10th of April the Year Four classes S6, S4 and S7 (a split class of Year 4s and 5s) went to the Boola Bardip Museum on a excursion. First we hopped on the bus and our bus driver drove us to the Museum.
We then put our bags and water bottles away in our locker and split into our groups.
First, we explored Reflections and dived deep into our people and our stories. We also looked at the beautiful blue whale.
Next, we went up to the second floor and looked at Changes transforming landscapes, water and sky.
After that we came back down to the ground floor and looked at Ngalang Koort Boodja Wirn. This was an exhibition about our heart, Country and Spirit.
Then we went to Wild life and Connections gallery on the third floor.
Then we had lunch.
After lunch, we did a code breaker activity. We had to find out who robbed the Museum and what they stole. We had to solve heaps of clues with the things we had in our bags.
Finally, we solved the answer and returned our stuff to the reception. We then met the other groups and collected our water bottles and bags.
We then got on the bus and returned back to school.
