Interschool Carnival

Despite finishing last overall, the sportsmanship and effort on display from the members of the interschool team is one they can all be proud of. All the hard work and training leading up to the carnival resulted in some excellent competition, particularly when it came to the team games.

The results were as follows:

• 1st- Eden Hill PS- 2122 points
• 2nd- Lockridge PS – 2005 points
• 3rd- Bayswater PS - 1989 points
• 4th- Bassendean PS - 1923 points
• 5th- Guildford PS - 1918 points
• 6th- Maylands Peninsula PS- 1854 points

As with the overall competition, the battle for individual champion honours was extremely tight. We are very proud of the three students who placed either as Interschool Champion or Runner Up:

Year 4 Boy Champion- Finn Ginbey

Year 4 Girl Runner Up- Darcey Summerhayes

Year 5 Boy Runner Up- Oisin McCullogh

Finally, I'd like to acknowledge Miss Wyatt and Mr Christie as chief organisers of the interschool team, other members of staff who spent many lunch times assisting with the team game preparation, and all the parents/caregivers and other family members who attended the carnival to support our students. Well done to all concerned.
