Reconciliation Week- ALL IN

During Reconciliation Week, the Kindy E/F students explored this year's theme, 'ALL IN'. Through discussions, stories, and creative activities, the Kindy students developed their understanding of this year's theme.

The students enjoyed reading a range of books by First Nations authors and illustrators, including Back on Country, My Country, and We All Sleep. The Kindy students also learned about the colours of the Aboriginal Flag and worked together to create a class commitment to reconciliation.

As part of their learning program, they participated in the Sea of Hearts initiative, inviting families to decorate a heart to represent their shared commitment to reconciliation. The Kindy students were excited to share their hearts with the class and explain the meaning behind their designs.

Kindy staff were delighted by the wonderful response from our Kindy families and thank everyone who contributed to this meaningful activity.
